October 2 will mark the beginning of a new art exhibition with the art of Jamal Khamis. Visitors will be able to enjoy or even purchase Khamis’ art along with the art of several other artists at ‘Het Claverhuis’ in Amsterdam.
On November 11, Jamal Khamis received the International Galileo Galilei Award 2014. Khamis his art has been selected by The International Academy Gentilizia Il Marzocco in Livorno, Italy. The ceremony took place in the famous historic center of Florence.

On November 10th 2012 Jamal Khamis has been awarded the 'Grand Prix International Jean Simeon Chardin'. Khamis his art has been selected by the International Academy of fine arts, literature and science Gentilizia Il Marzocco Florence City. This year's prize is in the spirit of Jean Siméon Chardin, also known as the painter of silence. Chardin was a master of still life. His style was known for his well considered usage of composition and light. He heavily influenced the modern art of the eighteenth century. In turn, Jamal Khamis receives homage for his influence in contemporary art.
In 1988, Jamal Khamis reached out to the Dutch Parliament in order to stop the president from visiting an event celebrating the fortieth year of Israëli existence. He formed a coalition of Dutch Palestinian representatives to bring this matter to the nation.
As a result of their combined efforts, the Dutch Parliament decided against the Presidents visitation of Israël.
From Januari until februari, Jamal Khamis exhibited art work at Hilton Copenhagen. It was a great exhibition at a pleasant location.
